One injured in Grand Rapids shooting

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — One person is injured after a shooting in Grand Rapids Sunday.

It happened around 3 p.m. in the 400 block of Cherry Street near Madison Avenue.

One person was shot in the chest, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department dispatch. Police officials say their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

It is not yet known if a suspect is in custody.
