Dr. Masters attended the University of Oklahoma graduating with honors focusing in Biomedical Sciences. He furthered his education at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. It was there he discovered his passion for Plastic and Reconstructive surgery and contributed to Plastic surgery research. Dr. Masters has published numerous articles in his field, presented his research at national and international conferences winning awards such as best overall paper and the Alpha Omega Alpha award.
Dr. Masters’ commitment to research and his academic accolades earned him a highly sought-after position in the competitive Integrated Plastic Surgery residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Additionally, he helped develop state of the art techniques in postoperative pain management for tummy tuck procedures. This paper won him best Aesthetic paper at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons resident competition and outlines a technique used widely now by plastic surgeons worldwide.
