Texas raised, Dr. Staebel is an unabashed lover of the region. He went from Houston, where he spent his childhood, straight off to Texas A&M University for undergraduate schooling—graduating with Honors and going promptly into medical training at the A&M College of Medicine, where he also finished with Honors.From there he would make his way to Temple, Texas, to begin his Residency at the Scott & White Hospital. He was accepted into the six-year Plastic Surgery Residency program to complete his formal training in every aspect of plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery under some of the nation’s leading surgeons.He excelled. By his final year, Dr. Staebel was serving as the program’s chief resident. Then, with residency behind him, Dr. Staebel completed the challenging year and a half board certification process and was awarded certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
